Life with Endometriosis is a photo-based booklet which aims to facilitate conversations and to help inform friends and family about the impacts of endometriosis. The photo imagery allows ordinary people to communicate about the symptoms and impacts of endometriosis – it’s a way to explain it to work mates or managers, friends and family, medical professionals and people not familiar with women’s health.

Margaret Kalms’ art expresses what endometriosis feels like, the authenticity of experiences of those living with endometriosis. Her art turns vague feelings into clear visual messages.

Margaret does not have endometriosis, but she pairs her photo art with quotes from people who do.  The images in Life with Endometriosis are confronting, but expressive and beautiful.

Money raised after expenses will be shared between Canberra Endometriosis Centre and the local endometriosis support group, Qendo.
